Chimper #5376
After the great monolith shattered, the Rock Wizards found they couldn’t recalibrate their scrying pools. The lead geomancer, exasperated, sought the one chimp who didn't rely on precise magic: Sharurotto, a chef known for their poker face and intimidating war paint. They needed a rare, stabilizing lichen that grew where wild magic was strongest. The wizard expected a forager. They got a warrior whose primal instincts, a bond shared with beasts and berserkers like Yaban-hito, could feel the land’s pulse. The two argued constantly, one speaking of ley lines, the other of taste. When a rogue earth elemental attacked, the wizard’s spells faltered. Sharurotto, unblinking, simply offered it a perfectly seasoned salt-lick. The partnership has been odd, but effective, ever since.
