Locals see only a diligent messenger, their whiskers twitching as they navigate the bamboo-lined streets. They don't hear the other frequencies, the coded whispers that flicker beneath official dispatches. This headset is not standard issue. It's a custom piece, rebuilt by Mekanikku after Sotojirou’s original was crushed during a border skirmish. The defector did more than just fix it; they opened a back door to the world’s secrets. Sotojirou still delivers parcels, but they also listen for truths hidden between the lines of Panda Council decrees. The most important messages they carry are the ones they never write down.
