Suzuya

In The Great Panda City, they say the strongest bamboo bends to shelter the smallest shoot. Suzuya lives by this. While their battle jacket has seen its share of scrapes defending the city's high passes, the gleam in their eyes comes from something else entirely. They found Shikuhiko near the mountain's peak, caught in a sudden freezing gale, their strength failing. Suzuya didn’t hesitate, wrapping Shikuhiko in their own cloak and guiding them back down the treacherous path to the city's warmth. The debt was never mentioned again. These days, the two are inseparable, often seen sharing ramen on a bamboo-lined street, their laughter carrying on the wind that no longer feels so harsh.
