Chimper #1190
The smear of berry jam on Kahomi’s kitsune mask was starting to attract a curious bee as they stood guard in The Great Panda City. Their elder armor gleamed under the purple-hued sky, a silent testament to a warrior's discipline, utterly betrayed by their hasty breakfast. Two members of the Panda Council passed, offering a respectful nod which Kahomi awkwardly returned, hoping they wouldn’t notice. They possessed an endurance that reminded elders of the titan Bjorn, capable of holding a defensive line for days without rest. That strength felt a world away when faced with social scrutiny. It wasn’t until a child pointed that Kahomi saw their reflection in a polished spearhead. Mortified, they spent the rest of their shift staring at a single cherry blossom, a blush hidden safely behind their jammy failure.
