They are revered as a silent, burdened protector, their lanterns a symbol of the vigilant path they walk. The rumors are nearly correct; the visor does see fractures. It just doesn't see them in stone. A gift from a disgraced scientist, the device was meant to read magical intent but failed spectacularly.
