This was how the senior mages of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria described Masahito. For years, they struggled with their dual nature: the gleeful scholar who loved the light of discovery, and the silent night-walker who felt most at home in the shadows. Believing this duality was a flaw, they sought out the retired master, Toto. Masahito expected a test of intellect. Instead, Toto asked them to retrieve a simple flower from a heavily guarded garden. Masahito used their stealth, not their knowledge, to succeed. Upon their return, Toto simply nodded. "True wisdom is using every part of yourself."
