When the amulet first surged, Misawa was not a guide but a bystander, watching the uncontrollable energy lash out and scar the young heir's spirit. Shame drove them into The Underworld, chasing whispers of a root that grows only in ash, one that might soothe the amulet’s violent spirit. They carry the bamboo as a penance, a fragile piece of the world they failed to protect. The weight of Akurai’s burden is shared, even from realms apart.
