Jousaburou

Jousaburou was the easiest chimper to overlook in The Great Panda City. The stern Panda Council guards saw only a wanderer with a sweet tooth, constantly sipping strawberry milk as freezing winds whipped through the streets. They spent less time in official training and more in the high-altitude bamboo groves, often sharing a quiet spot with Panda, another soul who understood being misjudged. When a strange, disorienting fog rolled up the mountain, the sentinels prepared for a siege. Jousaburou, recognizing the unnatural draft, simply followed an invisible trail to a tiny cursed totem hidden in the bamboo. They kicked it over. The fog vanished. The guards still see a wanderer. Panda just sees the one who saved the city without spilling a drop.
