Masaka

In The Great Panda City, even the thought of an open flame near the sacred bamboo is enough to cause a diplomatic incident. This makes Masaka’s presence a constant, low-grade emergency. They arrived with Narisumashi on a mission of ‘subtle infiltration,’ a plan that lasted until Masaka tried to gently warm the air near their perpetually damp toad partner. The resulting scorch mark on the council chambers' main gate is now a local landmark. The mission was a write-off, but Masaka stayed, insisting the flamethrower is for flash-grilling fish—a culinary technique no one has dared to sample. They wander the city, serene beneath their mask, leaving a trail of startled guards and perfectly toasted river snacks.
