Chimper #1764
The sharp tap of a carved cane on frozen ground often announced Hoshirou’s arrival before their golden fur came into view. At The Dojo, they were paired with a brawler who believed problems were best solved with two fists and a roar. While their partner shattered training dummies, Hoshirou would simply lean on their staff, a calm smile on their face. They were sent to retrieve a scroll from a mountain shrine, a task the brawler met with a headlong charge. When a spirit guardian blocked the path, impervious to every blow, Hoshirou stepped forward, tapped the earth three times with their cane, and the spirit simply bowed. They still don't talk much, but now the brawler waits for the tap, listening for the quietest sound in the fight.
