Chimper #1888
Agyoku vaulted over the gilded balustrade, landing silently on the white marble of the Empress's private gardens. "Don't bother," the older guard muttered, pulling the recruit back from the alarm bell. "We don't try to stop that one anymore. That's Agyoku." The newcomer stared as the sapphire-hued chimper, face streaked with fresh war paint, scaled a golden spire with a feral grin. "They say Agyoku shares the same untamable spirit as Yaban-hito. They aren't here to steal or spy. They just... look. They map the city's highest peaks and deepest dungeons, then vanish for months. Last year, they walked right through a political summit in the main palace. The Emperor just watched them go. The Teikodian Empire has walls of gold. Agyoku is made of something older."
