Chimper #1897
In The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, wizards train to move mountains with their minds. Yet Kyousaburou, apprentice to the reclusive master Oguri, has never been taught a single spell. Their dojo is the open plateau, where sunsets bleed across monolithic stones. Oguri teaches them not of channeling energy, but of rooting their feet to the ground; not of incantations, but of the sound the wind makes whistling through a canyon. Every lesson revolves around a simple carved caneโhow to lean on it, how to find an opponent's balance with its tip, how to feel the world through the grain of the wood. When Kyousaburou asked what enemy they were training for, Oguri simply tapped the cane on a polished crystal, pointing to their studentโs own reflection.
