Chimper #1905
The only known student of Yasuke to lay down their master's steel and pick up a torch. Legend in The Heart of the Forest claims Yoshinori saw the finality of a bladeโhow it only ever ends things. Fire, they learned, could also begin them. During a brutal winter ambush, while others drew swords, Yoshinori used a merchantโs oil and a tinderbox to turn a narrow pass into a wall of roaring flame, saving their caravan. They saw then that fire was a cruder, less elegant tool, but it was also a hearth, a forge, and a light in the dark. Yasuke taught them to protect; Yoshinori chose to provide. They still carry the katana, a mark of their discipline, but their trade is in warmth and light. The flamethrower is just a quicker way to share it.
