Ryoukou

Ryoukou did not arrive in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria to sell gems. "You must understand," one of their students explains, polishing a small crystal, "they weren't always a merchant. That fire in their eyes? It used to burn wild, seeking a power to settle some old score." The student gestures to the Chimpers hat Ryoukou wears. "Everything changed when they found Henso. The master saw their rage and didn't try to extinguish it, but to aim it. That wand isn't a weapon; it's a lens." They pause, watching as the sunset glints off the spinning magical rocks above. "When Ryoukou finally understood, they changed. Ascended. They don't trade for coin. They trade lessons, helping others focus their own light."
