But a deep, unquenchable thirst for the world beyond led them from that silence into the unending roar of Waterfall City. Now, as a trainee in a new discipline, they find themself surrounded by the thunder of the falls and the shouts of traders at the grand plaza. Their teachers preach finding focus amid chaos, a lesson alien to one who only ever found it in absolute quiet. Other students see the intense eyes and persistent grin and assume Iki is a natural. They do not see the effort it takes just to stand steady in the rushing current of it all.
