Choukurou

The Panda Council guards in The Great Panda City will tell you Choukurou's carved cane taps out coded messages on the cobblestones. They say the recon headset is not for listening to the wind in the bamboo, but for intercepting imperial communications. They are only half right. Choukurou was once a revered historian, a true Sensei whose life was dedicated to ancient texts. That life ended the day a smuggled data-slate revealed a blueprint for a weapon so horrific it fractured their entire understanding of the world. They burned their library, keeping only the cane as a reminder of their old self. Since then, the headset has become their only book, and their students are contacts like Mekanikku, receiving schematics not for study, but for survival.
