Chimper #2507
When Misana first walked the bamboo-lined streets of The Great Panda City, their only plan was to leave. The mask and visor kept the freezing winds out and everyone else at a distance, which was how they liked it. They were a wanderer, a practical survivor with no need for roots. But then a child’s paper lantern, caught by a gust, floated toward a river. Without a word, Misana drew their sword, not to fight, but to expertly hook the string and guide the lantern back to its small, grateful owner. No one asked to see their face. Instead, a local elder simply nodded and left a warm rice cake for them at a nearby bench. The city didn't try to solve Misana; it just made room for them. They never did leave.
