Homana

Every morning, without fail, Homana checks the stash of chocolate sticks in their pack. It’s not for themself, but for their partner, Kiri, whose pockets are usually full of purloined crystal shards and bad ideas. When they first met in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, Kiri was trying to sell a stolen, humming rock to a very angry Rock Wizard. Homana, seeing the disaster unfolding, simply offered Kiri a sweet stick and a better escape route. People see Homana’s rebel eyes and the katana on their back and assume they are the dangerous one. They are mistaken. Homana is the anchor; Kiri is the storm. One maps the journey, the other finds the trouble, and somehow, they always end up exactly where they need to be.
