Sechi keeps two ledgers. The first is for public view in The Great Panda City, filled with meticulous notes on bamboo growth cycles and the history of the Panda Council. The second, bound in scorched leather and hidden beneath a loose floorboard, contains only one entry, written in a shaky hand. It details the night their fury, provoked by a rival scholar's insult, caused their ancestral katana to pulse with an uncontrollable heat. The surge left their hair ablaze and their spirit permanently altered. These days, they hide the fiery change beneath a heavy cloak and a deadpan expression, poring over forbidden texts not for knowledge, but for control. Finding none, they've begun sending discreet inquiries to the forgotten territories, seeking the outcast Takeo.
