Chimper #2741
The elders in The Great Panda City will tell you that on the day Shiima’s power bloomed, every cherry blossom on the mountain turned to ash. Before that day, they were just a trainee, their ancestral katana far too heavy and their smile as soft as the sweater they wore. They were learning to defend the city, but their true talent was coaxing stubborn daisies to grow in the cold, thin air. When a tear in reality allowed a vengeful spirit through the city’s wards, their mentor held it back. Shiima, in a desperate, uncontrolled surge of grief and power, did what few thought possible, echoing the transformative might of Shinpi. They banished the entity, but the wave of pure energy was too late. They saved the city, but not their teacher. The daisies they wear are from that mentor’s garden.
