Chimper #2754
When the rain finally stopped drumming on the scorched plateaus of The Dragon Wastelands, Noritoshi’s mission was simple: scout the wreckage for stragglers. They found a rival agent, weapon drawn, cornered by a ghost dragon illusion. Protocol demanded Noritoshi wait for one to eliminate the other. Instead, they stepped out from behind a jagged rock, not with their katana, but with two choc sticks held out. The other agent stared, bewildered. The illusion flickered and faded, its focus broken by the sheer absurdity. They sat together in the fog, wordlessly sharing the treat. Noritoshi learned that day that the fastest way to disarm an enemy isn't with a blade, but with an offer of simple kindness when it is least expected.
