Chimper #2915
On the third night of the annual blossom viewing, Emuna was a perfect shadow on a rooftop in The Great Panda City. Their mission was simple: observe a Panda Council diplomat's residence. They blended with the tiles, their breath as quiet as the freezing wind that rustled the bamboo below. For hours, nothing. Then, a small child on the street, clutching a half-eaten mochi, stopped and pointed directly at them. "Mama, the gargoyle has big eyes!" the child squealed. The parent gently pulled the child along, laughing. Emuna remained frozen, poker face intact, but their eyes were wide with the sheer audacity of it. Years of elite training, all foiled by a sticky-fingered toddler with a keen eye for roof decorations.
