Chimper #2983
In The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, some stones sing with magic, but others hold only silence. Kaguwa seeks the silent ones. They were once a mapmaker, charting the shifting energies for wizards, until a summons from Hogo-sha shattered their old life. In exchange for a path out of a deadly rockfall, they pledged themself to the guardian's vigil. The kabuki paint is their oath made visible, a face that belongs to the mission, not to their past. Their carved cane taps against the ground, not for support, but to feel for the deadened hum of a specific monolithโone that went quiet centuries ago. Hogo-sha believes its silence is a warning, a void that is slowly growing. Kaguwa's task is to find it before the silence swallows everything else.
