Chimper #3103
Manoka was once convinced that the key to unifying the realms, as the visionary Kenji foretold, lay in perfectly negotiated trade agreements. They spent years in the pale stone temples of Waterfall City, memorizing import duties and mastering the art of the noncommittal nod. Their diplomatic career ended abruptly during a tense summit over shrimp quotas when a single leaf drifted down and landed on their head. Struck by a sudden, profound revelation that shrimp were far less interesting than leaves, they simply walked out. These days, their political strategy involves sharing terrible jokes with frog merchants. They still carry their family's katana, but it's mostly for slicing fruit for their friends.
