Chimper #3188
In Waterfall City, the law of gravity is also the law of charitable donation. Hoshina learned this the hard way when their masterpiece, a ten-foot-tall bamboo sculpture of a particularly serene fish, took a spectacular dive from their workshop at the top of the falls. They lost their life's work in an instant. What they found at the bottom, however, was a brand-new career. The fisher-chimps had repurposed the splinters into surprisingly effective tools for fending off territorial river birds. Hailed as an accidental weaponsmith, Hoshina just smiled and accepted the role. A grateful trader even gifted them an 'authentic warrior's helm'โan old pilot's helmet they found in a shipwreck. Hoshina has been Waterfall City's gentlest warrior ever since.
