The small golden bushidō plate Yoshiteru wears below their eye is polished every morning with a merchant’s precision and a warrior’s discipline. In the bustling markets of The Great Panda City, it’s a declaration. Tomozaburou, their childhood friend, calls it sentimental nonsense. They learned the art of the deal through smiles and well-placed gifts; Yoshiteru learned it from scrolls on battlefield strategy. They used to race through the bamboo forests for fun; these days, they race for exclusive contracts with the Panda Council.
