Chimper #662
There's an old saying in The Great Panda City: 'The quietest stream catches the biggest fish.' Kiiho heard this once from the wise Monku and concluded it was terrible business advice. To achieve the inner peace Monku spoke of, one first needed financial security, which required volume. Thus, their market stall is a glorious cacophony. They wear their white bandana with the solemnity of a warrior entering a duel, preparing for the daily battle of haggling. They practice fierce kiai shouts to advertise the crispness of their apples and clang a small brass gong for every 'tactical discount.' They genuinely believe this is the path to enlightenment. When a rival merchant sighs, Kiiho just assumes it's envy of their commercial tranquility.
