What does a confectioner need with a blade that once carved a path through an imperial guard? For Hoyumi, the answer is simple: it makes a delightfully clean cut through crystal-sugar fondant. They once joined an expedition into the deepest parts of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria with the somber Kodai. While Kodai sought to unearth sources of ancient, terrifying power, Hoyumi was hunting for lost recipes. They found the sabre and mask in a forgotten tomb. These days, the mask keeps flour out of their nose, and the sabre is used exclusively for precise pastry work. Wizards visit their shop, staring at the legendary weapon on their back with a mix of awe and terror. Hoyumi just offers them a cookie, completely unaware of the legend they're using to slice it.
