Tamejirou

Tamejirou is a practical soldier in an impractical place. Sent to the Crystal Highlands on a reconnaissance mission for Kanshi-in, they were tasked with assessing the strategic value of the local wizards. They found none. Instead, they found eccentrics who debated the philosophical implications of a beautiful sunset and built fortresses from rocks that spun for no tactical reason. Their reports, filed weekly, are a source of legendary confusion on the mothership. They describe powerful mages as having “poor logistical discipline” and a display of potent elemental magic as “an unregulated pyrotechnics demonstration.” Their most trusted piece of field equipment is an apple on a stick, which serves as a pointer, a probe, and a stress-relieving snack.
