Chimper #3660
Morihiro was once the most intimidating mystic in the highlands. They spent their days inside a dark fortress, gazing into consecrated water pools and predicting calamitous futures from the shadows of the giant, spinning magical rocks in the sky. Their predictions were always chillingly accurate and delivered with a grim finality that made even seasoned wizards nervous. But predicting doom is exhausting work. One evening, sick of cosmic dread, Morihiro walked out to watch the sunset paint the crystal monoliths orange and purple. On a whim, they fashioned a fishing rod. Theyโve never caught a single fish. Instead, they discovered the profound joy of not knowing whatโs coming next. These days, they still wear the dramatic robes and shades, but they use their mystic focus to find the best napping spots by the water.
