Yashahime

Yashahime is the fastest messenger in the realm, yet they dream of standing still. They came to The Dojo to study ancient calligraphy, finding peace in the deliberate, patient strokes of ink on parchment. But when a crisis demanded a message be delivered faster than any living creature could run, the masters unveiled the Lightspeed Suit, a relic of Aoi's strange visit that none of them could control. One by one, the warriors were rejected by its chaotic energy. Yashahime, coaxed into trying, was the only one whose calm, grounded nature could sync with the suit. Now they are a celebrated hero, a blur of motion between realms. But the speed leaves them anxious and thirsty for a quiet they can no longer find. After every mission, they return to the lakeside, tracing characters in the dirt with a single finger, trying to remember what slowness felt like.
