Their journey led them to The Teikodian Empire, a place of blinding gold where shadows clung to every corner. There, they met a quiet palace scribe, someone whose world was ink and secrets. Kinuyo shared their ramen and their laughter, a stark contrast to the scribe's hushed life. When the scribe uncovered a truth the Emperor wanted buried, they were sentenced to the dungeons. To save them, Kinuyo did the unthinkable. Standing in a sun-drenched plaza, they channeled their earth spirit, pulling tons of rock and dust into the sky to blot out the sun. In the sudden, panicked darkness, they escaped. They are still the gleeful adventurer, but that one act of love cast a shadow that gave them a new name.
