They were an explorer from the far north whose map had simply run out, depositing them in a city of blinding gold and baffling etiquette. Finding the politics a language they couldn't speak, they took refuge in a forgotten watchtower on the palace outskirts, a simple column of stone amidst the gilded spires. During the siege by the Fellowship of Disorder, while commanders pored over maps, Kyuurou saw the ground itself. As Kaunto-juba’s forces buckled, Kyuurou used their geomancy to raise a wall of bedrock that shattered the enemy charge. They never left their post. They remain the quiet arctic chimp in the loud city, a calm soul with a perpetually shocked expression, known only as the hero of the high tower.
