Chimper #3913
Akakya never asked to read the future in giant spinning rocks. Life was much simpler with the wild tribe that had taken in both them and the memory-less Kiti. There, predicting rain was a matter of watching the clouds and smelling the air. But a traveling sorcerer saw moreโthey saw how the drizzle clung to Akakyaโs shoulders like a cloak, and insisted such talent belonged in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria. The tribe sent them off with proud cheers. These days, Akakya just feels cold, bundled in layers and perpetually wide-eyed. The wizards try to teach them to channel storms. Akakya mostly uses their gift to know when a light shower will make the fortress library feel cozy enough to forget where they are.
