Chimper #3960
Wakaha keeps their promises. The most important one was made years ago to Kinuito, by the edge of the cold lake where young chimps practice their forms. While Kinuito was content to master the dojo's teachings, Wakahaโs eyes were always on the horizon. They swore they would see every realm, but Kinuito only made them swear one thing in return: to always come back. So they do. Each winter, Wakaha appears at the dojo gates, their trendy specs dusty from the road and a new, strange companion in towโthis year, itโs a friendly bit of undead slime. They share stories and a meal of the finest sushi, a tradition theyโve kept since childhood. The world is vast and full of wonders, but for Wakaha, the journey is only complete when they see Kinuito waiting by the water's edge.
