Sanano

Sanano is a riddle the wizards of Armaria have yet to solve. The older scientists remember when they first arrived in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, a fierce rival hunting Hatori for reasons no one dared ask about. Their duels were a menace, cracking the smaller monoliths and disrupting delicate experiments. Everyone expected a fatal conclusion. But during a violent magical squall, a crystal spire broke loose, threatening to crush Hatori. The scholars swear Sanano cast their line, the hook catching the spire’s edge and deflecting it just enough. The feud ended that day, replaced by a silent, watchful truce. Hatori never explains it. They only say, “We owed each other a debt. Both are now paid.”
