Chimper #4114
Should a traveler ask the oldest masons of Waterfall City about the cracks in the plaza, they will not speak of earthquakes. They speak of Roriko, who they say was not born, but quarried. During a tremor that nearly split the cityโs foundations, Roriko was found curled within a newly opened geode, a living, spinning rock already fused to their back. This Rock Chakra hums with the slow, deep pulse of the mountain itself. The city elders saw this as a sign: the rock had given them a child to protect it in turn. Though their connection to the earth is absolute, Roriko remains a trainee, their intense eyes focused on learning control. Their face is already wrinkled with the strain of holding a mountain inside.
