Kochi

Kochi owned the most menacing thief's eyewear in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, but their most notorious caper involved liberating a jar of gooseberry jam. The original job was to steal a pulsating power crystal from a wizard's fortress. Kochi navigated shimmering wards and dodged enchanted sentinels, only to be stopped by the irresistible aroma of freshly made toast left on the wizard's desk. Believing a warrior fights best on a full stomach, they paused for a snack. Just as they took a jam-smeared bite, the wizard returned. In the ensuing panic, Kochi grabbed the jam jar instead of the crystal and made a clumsy escape. They are still a warrior for hire, but clients now whisper of their true talent: procuring rare and delicious preserves.
