Chimper #4223
Yukuko never intended to get their feet wet. Their plan was for dry docks and managed supply chains, a neat business far from the spray of Waterfall Cityโs lower rapids. But no one would fund a venture into the treacherous fog that choked the river base. No one except a grizzled old frog fisher who laughed at their pristine robes and asked for payment upfront. That frog, perpetually unimpressed, became their partner. These days, they run the most reliable ferry service through the mists. Yukuko illuminates the path with their guiding lanterns and theatrical Kabuki facepaint, a performance of confidence for nervous clients. The frog just steers the boat, silent and steady, navigating by instinct. One sells the light, the other knows the rocks.
