Yuuichi

Every morning, Yuuichi consults their compass, and every morning, its needle spins uselessly. In The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, their practical skills are a joke. They arrived with their rival, Yuaha, on a challenge to see who could map the treacherous, shifting landscape first. While Yuaha quickly learned to read the glowing monoliths and navigate by starlight reflected in floating gems, Yuuichi’s greatest discovery was a local beverage that left a permanent strawberry milk stain on their face. The hovering exclamation mark appeared that same afternoon. They are hopelessly out of their element, a cartographer in a land that redraws itself at whim, but they refuse to concede. The thought of Yuaha winning is the only true north they have left.
