Fuji

Fuji is a deeply serious guardian. Their belief in the disciplined order brought by Toyotomi is absolute, which made the great bamboo incident of Waterfall City so mortifying. While carrying a prized bundle of bamboo for crafting, they spotted a loose roof shingle threatening the plaza below. They intended to use one pole to deftly nudge it back into place. Instead, they slipped on a wet stone stair. The entire batch went cascading down the rock steps, a clattering avalanche that sent fish barrels flying and frogs leaping for their lives. The shingle, unmoved, remained perfectly in place. Fuji just stood at the top of the falls, mouth agape behind their goggles, forever captured in that one moment of magnificent failure.
