Naatsu

The noodle vendors of The Great Panda City will tell you that Naatsu was expelled from the mountain dojo for falling asleep during a sparring match. They say the Sensei robes are a mockery, worn by a student who failed. It's a good story, and Naatsu lets them tell it. They never mention the real reason for their dismissal: they won that match. They won every match, so effortlessly that their instructors accused them of hidden, dishonorable magic. Cast out, Naatsu found that a full belly and the reputation of a lazy fool was the best camouflage a strategist could ask for. People talk freely around someone they don't fear. And as they slurp their ramen, Naatsu listens, mapping the city's true weaknesses.
