Chimper #4881
Sadayoshi traced the cracks in a bamboo stalk with a gentle finger, humming a tune that no one else in The Great Panda City seemed to know. It was a song from their old village, a place swallowed by a rogue magical surge that left nothing but dust and silence. They had arrived years ago, a refugee with only a pouch of seeds from their home’s sacred dragon-fruit tree, the very pouch they still wear today. The Panda Council, sensing their deep-rooted sorrow, offered them a patch of soil by the river. When Sadayoshi planted the seeds, they did not sprout into the familiar green tree of their memory. Instead, something new bloomed: pink, delicate, and ethereal. They had lost their home, but in its place, they had given the city its first cherry blossoms.
