The fishers down by the Waterfall City docks will tell you Akaume invented a secret martial art, the 'Way of the Slurping Noodle.' Merchants in the main plaza claim they are a prodigy in disguise. The truth is, Akaume thought they were signing up for the Golden Chopsticks ramen-eating tournament. The prize was a lifetime supply from the city’s best noodle stand. They showed up with their own bowl and a batch of bamboo for broth flavoring, only to find themself facing a warrior with a stern look. Every dip to avoid a swipe was just a reach for more toppings. Their first opponent, baffled, hesitated long enough for Akaume to trip and knock them out cold with the bamboo on their back. They are now a prized trainee at a dojo, and they still haven't found the ramen stall.
