Chisora

The most paranoid chimp in The Great Panda City always has a strawberry milk mustache and exactly one friend. Chisora became an outcast after the Great Sweet Bun Incident of last spring, an event for which they were blamed but insist was a deep-state conspiracy by the Panda Council. Their partner, a large, placid chimp who just wanted a quiet life, got exiled by association. These days, they wander the bamboo-lined streets together. Chisora squints at everything, convinced the cherry blossoms are surveillance devices and their combat pole is the only thing standing between them and total societal collapse. They deeply admire Takeo, seeing a kindred spirit who also understands that the world is run by secret handshakes. Their partner mostly just wishes they could finish a drink without Chisora inspecting it for poison first.
