Serito

Serito is known for two things: the finest silk robes in The Heart of the Forest, and the fact they source their ink from crushed berries. When a blight swept through the amber-leaved clearings, the locals’ songs turned to worried whispers. Everyone expected a warrior to save them, but Serito packed their old katana and a single, well-made lantern. They didn’t go to fight; they went to bargain. Their first meeting with hardened traders from the outer regions was a disaster, leaving them with nothing but empty hands and weary eyes. But they learned. They learned to hide their soft heart behind a poker face and that a trade agreement could be sharper than any blade. The lantern they wear now was a gift from their first real partner, a constant light in the woods where business was never meant to bloom.
