Honaka

The locals in The Heart of the Forest will tell you Honaka is some kind of war hero, though they cannot imagine what war. They see only an elder in clanking armor who flinches at sudden laughter and stares at songbirds with tactical suspicion. Honaka once stood firm beside the titan Bjorn, where every sound meant danger. Here, the constant feasting and music are a different kind of assault on the senses. In an effort to find a new mission, they decided to study the Mystic Cats, donning a Meow Cap with a solemnity usually reserved for a war helm. They tap their carved cane in the dirt, not from age, but from the warrior's habit of mapping out escape routes from a party they were invited to.
