Chimper #5390
The trainees at The Dojo will tell you Tsunayoshi's mask hides a terrible battle scar, or that it signifies a vow of some kind. The truth is much simpler. They just like how it keeps their face warm on rainy days. Yesterday, during a sudden squall, Tsunayoshi spotted a younger chimp's forgotten scroll skittering towards a puddle. Without a word, they used their combat pole not for a strike, but to gently pin the scroll and lift it from the wet ground. Handing it back, their eyes crinkled into gleeful crescents above the dark fabric. They spend most days exploring the trails around the lake, always prepared with their raincoat and a pocket full of dried fruit to share.
