Chimper #5429
Hiyara is a pillar of tradition in Waterfall City, their lineage stretching back to the city's founding. They are also the reason the plaza's grand fish statue now requires a protective net. The incident began, as most of their incidents do, with the best of intentions. Hiyara meant only to perform a small, personal blessing for a good catch, using a few drops of water from their lucky plant. But a misplaced step on the slick plaza stones sent them tumbling. The pot tipped, the plant was launched, and a passing merchant's prized pufferfish was inadvertently bonked. The merchant, thinking it an insult, retaliated with a squid. By noon, the entire lower district was embroiled in a seafood skirmish. The city guard now keeps a special logbook just for them.
