Chimper #5539
Nanrou did not speak to forgotten gods or pore over texts bound in shadow. Their great heresy, the act that earned them their outcast status in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, was discovering that mixing crushed berry juice with powdered sun-stone created a shade of purple not found in any sanctioned monolith. To the wizards, this was an abominationโa color that defied magical law. Their childhood friend, Youzaburou, saw it differently. Youzaburou was the one who first dared them to paint a sky with two suns and has been supplying them with contraband pigments ever since. While the scientists mutter about forbidden energies, Nanrou simply adjusts their beret, dips their brush, and wonders if adding a little moss might create the perfect green for a laughing frog.
